First-Time Fatherhood

Figuring out fatherhood for the first time can be both exciting and overwhelming. This is the story of a dad that realized the value of the peace of mind he gets from his zooby Baby Monitor.

"The first time I used the zooby in the car, I automatically noticed a sense of calm simply because I could see my son's face on the monitor screen when I took quick glances.  Because I could see him, I knew he was okay.  I did not realize how much the zooby brought me peace, until the day that I forgot my zooby because I had been using it at home.  I was on my way to my cousin's house, which was 45 minutes away.  At the moment that I noticed my zooby was gone and I could not see my baby, I immediately said, "Oh darn, I'm in trouble," and I have to admit a sense of panic came over me. As a first-time parent, I caught myself feeling worried and I kid you not, I wanted to pull over every five minutes just to see if he was alright over there.  I couldn't even turn my radio on to calm myself because I wanted to make sure I heard every sound coming from my newborn.  I kept thinking the worst scenarios of what could happen.  When I arrived at my cousin's house, I was so relieved that this nerve-wracking ride was over."  This is when I truly realized how much the zooby brought me peace and calmed my nerves when I use it.  I had to lose it for a day, to recognize that I don't want to drive without the zooby when I'm with my baby.  Especially when it is only him and I." -- Jayson, First-Time Dad
