How do I pair my zooby camera to the monitor screen? 

Note: You will need a paper clip or toothpick.

1. Start with both the camera and monitor screen OFF. Turn on the monitor, you will see "No signal Illustration” displayed on the screen. 

2. Locate the "Pair" hole on side of the monitor screen. Poke the hole with paper clip or toothpick until you will see a flashing red light on the left side of the monitor screen.

3. Pair the plush camera on by holding the power button until you see video displayed on the monitor screen. The power button is located on the underside of the plush inside the Velcro compartment. 

When powering on zooby plush camera here after, press the power button quickly. Holding down the zooby camera power button will put it in pair mode.

How do I pair two zooby cameras to one monitor screen? 

Note: You will need a paper clip or toothpick.

1. Start with both cameras and monitor screen OFF. Turn on the monitor, you will see "No signal Illustration” displayed on the screen. 

2. Locate the "Pair" hole on side of the monitor screen. Poke the hole with paper clip or toothpick until you will see a flashing red light on the left side of the monitor screen.

3. Pair the 1st plush camera (the other remains off) by holding the power button  until you see video displayed on the monitor screen. The power button is located on the underside of the plush inside the Velcro compartment. Your first camera is now paired.

4. The monitor screen will display "1" and on the upper left hand corner to denote Camera 1. Quickly click on the monitor screens power button to switch to Camera 2. The monitor screen will now show disconnected and display a "2" on the top left hand corner to denote Camera 2.

5. Poke the Monitor's screen "Pair" hole with the paper clip or toothpick again. 

6. Pair the 2nd plush camera by holding the power button until you see video displayed on the monitor screenCamera 2 is now paired.

7. The monitor screen has 3 views: Camera 1, Camera 2, and Split Screen. To toggle between the 3 views quickly pressing the power button on the monitor.

Why does my zooby kin run out of battery so quickly?

If it seems the zooby camera has disconnected from the monitor it may seem like the zooby camera battery has ran out even when it's fully charged. This is not a battery issue, but an issue with channel 1. To resolve this problem, pair the zooby camera to channel 2 (see instructions below)

The zooby camera battery should last 4-5 hours continuously. If you need assistance please reach email our support team support@infanttech.com, and we will be happy to help you out.

Pairing one zooby® camera to Channel 2 of the monitor screen: Bypass Channel 1 pairing issues

Note: You will need a paperclip or toothpick for this "pairing" set up. Start with both the camera and monitor screen OFF. 

Step 1: Push and hold for the monitor screen power button for 3 seconds to turn on. You are now on channel 1. Quickly push the power button again. You are now on Channel 2.
Step 2: Locate the recessed "Pair" button on the right side of the monitor screen. Use a paper clip to quickly push the "pair" button. 
Step 3: Next, hold down the zooby® kin cameras power button for approximately 6-8 seconds. Your camera is now streaming to the monitor.

How does zooby® kin Baby Monitor work?

The zooby® kin monitor works by directly connecting the monitor screen to the zooby® camera via radio frequency.

Do I need to download an application for my zooby® kin Baby Monitor?

No, zooby kin® comes with a monitor screen that connects automatically to the zooby® camera without the need for an app or the internet.

Is zooby® kin legal to use in the car?

Please check your local laws regarding use of hands free devices. It is the users responsibility to know and comply with the local and state laws wherever the device is used. Other hands free devices include navigation systems, mounted cell phones, and/or a cars built in counsel.

Is zooby® kin safe to use in the car?

In the event of a car accident, car accessories that are used to see children in the backseat (we're talking about you, baby mirrors!) are not crash tested. infanttech is proud to that our zooby® kin is crash test approved!

Independent lab simulated a car crash with a zooby® installed on the car's headrest (exactly how you'd install your own zooby®) to test if the monitor would become a projectile. When used as directed , zooby® kin will stay in place. Since there are no specific standards for car baby monitors, we used the same rigorous merit test that infant car seats go through for (FMVSS 213).

How do I cycle through viewing channels on the monitor when using more than one zooby® kin camera?

By quickly pressing down and letting go of the power button you will see the monitor change between channels 1, 2, and split screen.

zooby® WiFi

ATTN: Iphone, Sprint & T-mobile Users

Due to Sprint and T-Mobile cellular networks, users are experiencing buffering issues on the zooby app (you know, that star that keeps spinning and going nowhere). The case is similar to iPhone users- the processing causing delays in image streaming or intermittent freezing.

 

We have a solution for you! The zooby®  app does work when you put your cell phone into Airplane Mode and connect to WiFi.

 

This does not affect the use of the zooby®  app with the infanttablet

The picture on my smart device keeps freezing what should I do?

Whenever you connect to zooby® , it will start at the original setting of 15 frames per second (FPS). If there are many wireless devices nearby, this may effect the real time streaming. While in zooby®  app, click on your smart device’s screen to pop up a hidden menu. There, use the left arrow button so you may change the settings to 5 FPS to compensate for the many wireless interferences around. You can also change to 30 FPS when there is zero interference using the right arrow button.

 

How do I reset my password?

Forgetting your password happens. Don't worry, we can help you! You will reset your zooby®  to its factory settings. Press down on the Power button, hold while the green light becomes dim, and continue to hold until the green light begins to flash.

 

zooby®  is now reset and you can begin initial set up to create a new password.

 

If you changed your password and are unable to login still, what commonly happens is that the Auto Fill feature was used when creating the new password. This adds a space after the new password. Here's how to resolve this issue:

Go to the WiFi settings on your phone, and do not auto connect to the zooby®. You need to "forget the network". Type in the password and add a space after it. Then, connect to the zooby®.

smarttemp®  Set-up instructions

NOTE: Keep the smarttemp inside it's small hard plastic case until Step 7. to prevent connection issues

Step 1: Download the smarttemp® app to your smart device.

Step 2:  Open app to create account and register your smarttemp®.

Check your email to confirm registration. Remember to check in the spam folder for a smarttemp® email. 

Step 3. Give access to smarttemp® app through your smart devices permissions settings.

Go to your smart device settings. Locate "applications premissions" and tap the smarttemp® app. Grant permission to ALL (3) setting.

 
Step 5: Turn your smart devices Bluetooth on. Do not try to pair yet.

Step 6: Log in to app

Go back to the app, and log in.

Step 7: Remove smarttemp® from case to turn on.

It will now automatically pair to your smart device. 

Step 8: Attach the smarttemp thermometer to your child's under arm area with the provided adhesive patches. Please allow 5 minutes for smarttemp to warm up and display accurate data in the app. 

Input Error Analytical Error on smarttemp app:

We run regular maintenance on the Net Server that authenticates your account, which may occasionally disrupt connection. Be sure you are logged into your WiFi network BEFORE you log into the app and this will resolve the issue. 

How does smarttemp® work?

smarttemp® connects with your smart device using Bluetooth 4.0. Parents can observe baby's current temperature and variation trend. The smarttemp® can easily be affixed to baby's underarm with one of the included adhesive pads. Data is recorded every three seconds.For best and accurate measurement, hold against their body for the first five minutes after application. According to the child's circumstance, you can continue to monitor until the child's temperature becomes steady and stop monitoring after the child gets well. You should monitor no less than five minutes if smarttemp® is used as a spot-check.

What is the accuracy and safety regulations of smarttemp®?

The accuracy of of smarttemp® is +0.05°C (35.00°~38.50°C) +0.1°C (25.00°C~34.99°C and 38.51°~45.00°C). For best and accurate measurement, hold baby's arm firmly against their body for the first five minutes after application.

All of smarttemp®'s materials conform to the biological compatibility standard and ROHS standard, for safety use for children. smarttemp® is safe for baby and it follows all relevant standards of ASTMP-86 toy safety standard/European standard En71/Chinese standard GB6675-86. Our products have passed tests of cytotoxicity, irritation reaction of skin and delayed type hypersensitivity. Test condition satisfied requirements which consisted in GB-T 16886.5-2003 idt ISO 10993-5-1999 and 16886.10-2005 idt ISO 10993-10-2002. Our products also passed tests that require RoHS2011/65/EU, at the same time, satisfied IEC62321:2008 [Electronic electrical products determination of six kinds of restricted substances (Pb, Hg, Cd, Cr, VI, PBBs, PBDEs)].

smarttemp® uses low-power Bluetooth 4.0 technology, which emits very low radiation. The intensity is less than one fifteen of a thousandth of cell phone radiation, so there is no impact of radiation to children.

Where can I download the smarttemp® app?

You can download the smarttemp® app in the Apple App store for iPhone users or Google Play Store for Android users. smarttemp® app is also able to be downloaded onto Amazon Fire tablet/tv.

smarttemp® only works with iOS 11.x.x and Android devices 4.x devices. smarttemp® is compatible to work on an iTouch, provided it is updated to iOS 11.x.x

Why isn't the smarttemp® connecting to my Android phone via Bluetooth?

Please begin by going into your device's application settings on the device you are trying to connect with. Then find the smarttemp® app in the list of apps AND accept all permissions it asks for. You do not need to register to the app again when relaunching it. Next, turn on your Android phone’s Bluetooth feature. Lastly, log into the smarttemp® app and you will see the thermometer connect to your Android phone with ease.

Can smarttemp® connect to multiple devices?

Yes, but we recommend that one smarttemp® connects to one receiver. To avoid data conflict, it's not recommended to use smarttemp® connected to multiple receivers simultaneously. After connecting a receiver, you can log in to the same account on another smart device via Bluetooth to check the same smarttemp®'s temperature data.
